Professional Photo Editor to Top-Tier photographers, including:

Boutique Editing Services for Wedding Photographers

As a professional wedding and portrait photographer, I quickly learned how much time was spent in lightroom, instead of actually taking photos, interacting with clients, and expanding my business. Fortunately for me, I LOVE EDITING and have a real knack for consistent color correction. I decided my time was better spent helping other photographers and built a service around establishing a one-on-one editing relationship with each client. Little did I know how important this service would be, and how it would lead to improving each photographer’s workflow and allows them time to serve their clients to the fullest. Having a one-on-one editing relationship ensures consistency in meeting the photographer’s editing style. I focus my service in one area:

1. Editing weddings to match each photographer’s style

I am currently completely booked, however you can find your perfect editor match at edit-source.com :)

Testimonials

“The Profitable Edtior’s Kit has been life-changing for me and my business! I became an editor and 3 months later, I’m more profitable than I ever was behind a camera! Even better is that my work-life balance is in such a better place!”

~ Jess Bulloss

“Within the last 7 months, after my first coaching session with Marissa, I have picked up more of my ideal editing clients and tripled my editing income. I will forever appreciate the knowledge Marissa has shared with me because I’ve been able to contribute financially to my family while being a more present mother and wife. :)”

~ Courtney Jones

“You’re so inspiring and I’m so happy you’ve finally paved the way to bridge the gap between photographers and editors! I used to be so stressed and was dreading leaving here, but now I have confidence to know that I finally have a job that can move with me. You of all people know, firsthand, how valuable that is!”

~ Mandy Ford

For me, it’s all about the family :)

See my awesome little family of five over there? Well here’s the short list about each one of my people :)

Daddy – engineer, aspiring brewer

Mamma Lady – photo editor, dreamer

Brooklyn – artist, singer

Hudson – baseball player, goof ball

Harvey – smiler, tough guy ;)

One of the biggest reasons I became an editor rather than a photographer is because I wanted and needed more time with my family. I crave the little moments together and cherish the few hours we have each day ALL together. If you asked my family what I enjoy most they’d probably tell you first and foremost, coffee, momma loves her coffee. Then they’d ramble about sketching, reading, cuddles… couch cuddles to be exact, and playing race around the house would most definitely make the list. I’m just a simple girl who finds joy in the smallest of things :)
